On Seably, all seafarers can buy individual courses with a debit or credit card. We call this Single Purchase. With a Single Purchase, the revenue isn't shared through the Royalty Pool. Instead, we split the income 70/30 (when sales cost been deducted). 70% goes to you, and 30% goes to Seably.

Sales cost

We always deduct the sales cost of Single Purchase incomes. The sales cost varies depending on which platform the purchase is made from.

  • Web: If a purchase is made on the web, the sales cost is 3% of the Single Purchase price.

  • iOS: If a purchase is made through the Apple App Store, the sales cost is 30% of the Single Purchase price.

  • Android: If a purchase is made through the Google Play Store, the sales cost is 15% of the Single Purchase price.
