Integrating Seably with your identity provider makes logging in simple and secure for your organization's employees and admins.

Follow the steps in this article to configure your identity provider, to require SAML SSO (Single Sign On) from all your organization employees and admins, or offer it as one of your sign-in options.

Single Sign On (SSO) settings

How to Setup Single Sign-On

  1. Go to your identity provider and follow the instructions on how to configure Single Sign on.

  2. Download a copy of the X.509 certificate and make a note of the sign in URL—you’ll need this in step 6.

  3. Sign in to Seably using your admin credentials.

  4. Click Settings in the Manage sidebar, and go to Security.

  5. Under the Single Sign On (SSO) section, click Configure Single Sign On (SSO).

  6. In the Identity Provider Single Sign On URL field, paste the URL you noted in Step 2.

  7. In the Public Certificate text area, paste the content of X.509 certificate .pem file you downloaded earlier.

  8. Click Save.

How to Enable Single Sign-On

  1. Click Settings in the Manage sidebar, and go to Security.

  2. Under the Authentication Methods section, choose Require Single Sign On

    1. If you uncheck the transitioning checkbox under it, all employees and admins must sign in to Seably using SSO, and their Seably password will no longer work.

  3. Click Save.
