Impacts on Updating Published Courses on Your Business Account.

Have you recently updated an already published internal course in your organisation? You can see here how it will affect your employees and the existing assignment setup.

Employees

  • Users who haven't enrolled yet in the course will be able to enroll in the new version automatically.

  • Users who completed the course will not be affected by the changes.

  • Users who are halfway through the training or already enrolled on the old version will not be affected either. They will continue on the old version of the course and will still get a certificate.

  • There will be no notification about the changes for any of these users as long as the changes are done on the Published course.

Assignment

No need to worry about the assignment setup. If the published course was already assigned to the users, even though the content of that course will be updated there will be no impact on the employees at all. Hence, they will not receive new notifications for the Assignment.
